In memory of my dearest Chibi-chan.

Along the Nakagawa River where we used to walk.
We lived in a flat in Kameari, Katsushika-ku, Tokyo
for about 2 years. It was difficult to find a flat where
pets were allowed those days. We finally started living
there together in February, 1990.
Other photos taken at my flat in Yokohama,
early 1992. Chibi-chan lived here for the rest
of his life, with me and other furry friends
looking for new home. He was so gentle to
other dogs and cats.
I have come to know a brilliant violinist from
Germany recently, and thanks to him I could
make another slideshow in memory of my Chibi-chan.

On August 9 every year I mourn for my Chibi-chan.
And on the same day, a large number of people mourn
for their loved ones who died when an atomic bomb
was dropped in Nagasaki in 1945. They have been
mourning for the last 66 years. I, only for the last 8 years ...
After I lost my Chibi-chan, I think I have come to feel
the suffering of others more.
I wish I could have him right here, right now.

今年創立６０周年を迎えるバンク・オブ・インディア東京支店。
５月１７日の記念日には本店の役員が来日できず、レセプションも
延期になってしまいましたが、インド政府の高官のかたの来日と
あわせ、７月中旬にレセプションを開き、インド大使、インド人の
お客様を迎え盛大にお祝いしました。(私は喪中ということで
遠慮させていただきましたが、プロのかたが写した写真を使って
いくつかスライド・ショウを作りました。ＹｏｕＴｕｂｅでは一般には非公開で
のせてありますので、ひとつだけ、ここにアップしました。
私の上司(在日総支配人）のアラムさんは、このあとシンガポールに
転勤となりましたので、良い思い出になったことと思います。

注目を集めていたＲｉｃｋｙ Ｎｅｌｓｏｎ．
初めて”Ｙｏｕｎｇ Ｗｏｒｌｄ”聴いた時、ファンになりました。
もうすぐ１２月３１日。Ｒｉｃｋｙさんの命日です。あれから
何年経ったのでしょう。。。

We gathered at our parents' place yesterday to celebrate Father's Day. Father looked fine, although he couldn't recognize us, as always. His Dimentia with Lewy Bodies has been worsening and he cannot eat by himself now.
I asked my sister, Minako, to send me flower files by e-mail so that I could make a slideshow of Keisei Rose Garden where she and another sister, Mihoko, visited in May.
Roses are really beautiful... And the results are:

His art exhibit will start tomorrow at Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers. I am looking forward to viewing his excellent works.
I bought some copies of Makoto Ohneta's Digital Photo Album. I especially like his drawings of horses and was really glad when I found out that he had painted three drawings of horses at Northpole Stable in Hokkaido. In one of the pictures, I see Hearth-kun running towards us together with three other chestnut-colored thoroughbreds under the vast blue sky and white clouds.

This is the video I found at YouTube two years ago. It seems they have greatly improved the video quality. Every time I watch this, I am reminded of how many heartless people there are in the world.
In memory of Hearth-kun - II (All the photos by Ms. S. Hino, Kodou/Northpole Stable. The painting at 1:12-15 is by the artist, Mr. Makoto Ohtane, one of the greatest painters of the modern time, and the models are Bright Hill and Dab who has been gone for some time.)
In memory of Hearth-kun, one of the chestnut-colored horses at Northpole Stable, Hokkaido. He was born on 4th April, 2003 and passed away on 6th June, 2010 all of a sudden. R.I.P. Hearth-kun! (All the photos taken and owned by Ms. S. Hino, Kodou, Northpole Stable)
I visited Yokohama Equine Museum Pony Centre to see Robin-chan and other horses there. They all looked fine.
